As autumn paints our world in vibrant hues, we at the Moorland Federation have been embracing the spirit of the Harvest Festival with joy and gratitude. This season, our schools have come alive with a rich tapestry of events and celebrations, deeply connecting us with our families and the heartbeat of our local communities.

Free event for young nature lovers
For all ages grouped into three categories. The age groups (based on age as of 31st August 2026) are: Junior up to and including 10 years old, Intermediate 11 to 13 years. The winner for each age group in the Minehead Rotary local heat will receive an Amazon gift voucher for £30. They will then be entered for the Rotary District final, and then if they win that to the Rotary National final. At all stages of the competition, competitors will receive a Certificate of Participation. old, Senior 14 to 17 years old.
Young Somerset are leading some free Wellbeing Walk 'n' Talk events, aimed at children, young people and families. The purpose of these is: *To have a chance to go for a short walk *To connect with others *To spend time in nature
