The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils. We follow the locally agreed Somerset RE syllabus called “Awareness, Mystery and Value”.

A daily act of worship is held. It is intended to reflect our Christian tradition and includes all children. Christian values are at the heart of the school and our daily worship contributes to each pupil’s Religious Education. We have a very close relationship with our local clergy. Reverend David Weir and Reverend Nicola Butt are integral to the Christian foundation of our school. We visit the church regularly, both for community events and religious services, and Revd Weir and Revd Butt contribute considerably to our wider curriculum.
