As a Class Teacher at Dunster First School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our KS2 pupils. You will join a close-knit team that believes in collaboration, creativity and putting children’s wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

This role will suit you if you have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong understanding of effective primary teaching practice
· Experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 (or a willingness and enthusiasm to do so)
· The ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning
· High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential
· Experience of using assessment effectively to support pupil progress
· A commitment to inclusive practice, supporting the needs of all learners including those with SEND
· Excellent classroom management and the ability to create a positive, purposeful learning environment
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
· A reflective approach to teaching and a genuine enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
· An appreciation of the opportunities and rewards of working in a small, community-focused school
