Nurturing Potential. Championing Inclusion. Inspiring Every Child

Langford Budville Primary School, part of the Moorland Federation, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Class Teacher to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work within a small, highly inclusive rural school where every child is truly known, valued and supported to thrive.

We are proud of our strong inclusive ethos and the success we have achieved in integrating pupils with Special Educational Needs into our mainstream setting. Our approach reflects the adaptive, inclusive teaching practices outlined in the Every Child Achieving and Thriving, and we are recognised for being at the forefront of this work in practice.

As a teacher at Langford Budville, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching that meets the needs of all learners. In our small school environment, teaching may span across key stages, offering a varied and rewarding experience with opportunities to build strong relationships across the whole school community.

We’re looking for compassionate, creative and adaptable individuals who are:

·       A passionate and reflective teacher who is committed to ensuring every child succeeds, regardless of need or starting point

·       Skilled in, or motivated to develop, adaptive teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning needs, including SEND

·       Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

·       Confident in creating an inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued and able to participate

·       Flexible and enthusiastic, with the ability to teach across different key stages within a small school setting

·       A collaborative team member who contributes positively to a shared ethos of inclusion and high expectations

·       Committed to ongoing professional development, particularly in inclusive and SEND practice

·       Committed to high standards and level of attainments

This role will suit you if you have:

·       Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong understanding of effective primary teaching practice

·       Experience of teaching in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2 (or a willingness and enthusiasm to do so)

·       The ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning

·       High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential

·       Experience of using assessment effectively to support pupil progress

·       A commitment to inclusive practice, supporting the needs of all learners including those with SEND

·       Excellent classroom management and the ability to create a positive, purposeful learning environment

·       Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

·       A reflective approach to teaching and a genuine enthusiasm for ongoing professional development

·       An appreciation of the opportunities and rewards of working in a small, community-focused school

In return, we offer:

·       A collaborative, friendly team and supportive leadership, including engaged Governors who care about your success

·       The opportunity to work in a school recognised for its inclusive practice and SEND provision

·       The chance to make a meaningful difference in a school where your ideas and efforts are truly valued

·       Ongoing professional development tailored to your growth and career progression opportunities

·       An inclusive, values-driven culture that champions diversity, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging for all

·       A Federation-wide ethos of collaboration and care

At Langford Budville Primary School and within the Moorland Federation, you will find a welcoming and supportive environment where your contribution is celebrated and your wellbeing is prioritised. We are committed to helping every member of staff flourish both personally and professionally.
