At Timberscombe First School, we believe that learning should not stop at the classroom door. Our after school clubs offer children the opportunity to extend their learning, develop new skills, and discover passions that go beyond the standard curriculum. With our highly skilled staff and partnership with No.1 West Somerset, we provide an enriching and supportive environment for all our students.

A Variety of Clubs to Spark Imagination and Foster Talent

Here at Timberscombe, we aim to cater to a variety of interests, enabling children to explore their potential and develop their abilities. From craft clubs to engaging sports activities, there is a club to fit every child's interest:

We currently have the following clubs running:

• Mondays: Film Club with Mrs Stone / Mrs Hall (3.20pm - 4.20pm)
• Tuesdays: Sports Club with No.1 West Somerset (3.20pm - 4.00pm)
• Thursdays: Golden Club with Mrs Stone / Mrs Hall (3.20pm - 4.20pm)
• Fridays: Get your game face on with Friday Catchball, an inter-federation activity where students compete with other schools in the Federation and local area

• Wrap around care is available by arrangement in advance from Monday through to Thursday.

Through our collaboration with No.1 West Somerset, we're able to provide high-quality sports instruction at our school. Suzanne & her team bring their expertise to our Sports Club, allowing students to engage in football, cricket, gymnastics, and more. We also offer the opportunity for inter-school sports events, fostering healthy competition and promoting teamwork.
