Mrs Lizi Pravato

With over two decades of experience across banking, private industry and local-authority finance, Lizi brings that blend of knowledge and practicality to her role as Chief Operations Officer for the Moorland Federation. Having previously served as a Business Manager within the Federation, she has developed a strong understanding of the needs of our schools and the importance of joined-up, responsive support for our teams.

Lizi oversees the key operational areas that keep our schools, preschools and nurseries running smoothly - including finance, compliance, estates, HR support and wider business services, always with a focus on enabling staff to give children the very best experiences.

Alongside the operational side of her role, Lizi supports safeguarding as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, and is a qualified Money First Aider, supporting the valuable work of our Mental Health First Aiders. Wellbeing, inclusion and equitable access are central to her work, and Lizi is proud to champion this across the Federation and externally through her role as an Ambassador for Includability.

Outside of school life, Lizi loves spending time with her family, escaping to the beach and exploring the outdoors with her two dogs.
